By train: get off at "Genova Piazza Principe" Train Station. From Piazza
Acquaverde (the square in front of the station) go down Salita San
Giovanni (also known as Salita della Commenda, it is in the upper right
corner of the square). When in Via Gramsci, turn left and walk about 250m
eastbound. Then cross the road at the first cross-walk. The Department is
on the right, next to the "Galata Museo del Mare".
By public transportation (from the city centre):
-bus n° 20 & 35 (westbound): get off at "Genova Piazza Principe" Train
Station and follow the indications in the "by train" section; -bus n° 18
(westbound): get off at the "Gramsci 1/Metro Darsena" stop and cross via
Gramsci. The Department is on the right, next to the "Galata Museo del
Mare";
-underground: get off at the "Darsena" station; the Department is 3-minute
walk westbound, next to the "Galata Museo del Mare".
By car: leave the highway (A7/A10/A12) at "Genova Ovest" exit and follow
the indications towards "Porto Antico / Acquario / Darsena". The closest
parking is the "Marina Porto Antico", near to the NH Marina Hotel. The
Department is 7-minute walk westbound, next to the "Galata Museo del
Mare".
By plane: from International Airport "Cristoforo Colombo", take the
"Volabus"
shuttle bus to "Genova Piazza Principe" Train Station, then follow the
indications in the "by train" section.
